inettie Joined: 13 Nov 2009 Posts: 1 1.35 Dollars($)	Posted: Fri Nov 13, 2009 10:44 pm    Post subject: how to remove a name if they wont sign Like 0 Dislike 0 in our divorce settlement in May 2004 my husband was granted the house that is paid in full, there were other stipulations in the divorce decree settlement, one he did not honor, an Insurance Policy where I am the beneficiary that was worth $250,000.00. It is now lapsed. In the mean time I have not sign off the grant deed. Now he wants me to sign off, 5 years later, can he remove my name without me signing, if so how can he do it?

You need to contact your divorce attorney and take his opinion. He would suggest you whether or not you can take legal actions against him. Sussane
