What do you mean by "security deed"? Is the property in Georgia? If so, the security deed is the mortgage and would need to be refinanced or go through novation to have a name taken off.
If not, please specify.

Hi

Do you mean you want to know whether your wife can take your name off the mortgage? Well, the answer is no, she can't. She needs to get it refinanced in her name or do a navation agreement to do this. If you have an interest in the property, it'll not be easy for her to do either a refinance or a novation.

Do I need a license to sell or help sell a security deed in the state of Georgia? If so how could I get one?

A security deed transfers the legal title to the lender for the term of the note. So, I think you would require a license to sell those deeds

Our mortgage has been sold several times, but the lender or mortgage holder on the Security Deed at the court house does not reflect these sells. Does our current mortgage holder have to change this information?

Hi Flip!

Welcome to forums!

You can request the present mortgage holder to change the information. However, I guess, it would have been better if you could have updated the information as and when the changes took place.
