I own owned property with a friend 50/50 and am in the process of selling my share to my friend. I believe a quit claim deed is appropriate to transfer my share to the friend. What if I get married before I sell my share does my spouse have to sign too, even though he is not owner of that property?

I would recommend it as a precaution against any future issue with regard to the property.
