Jane Guest	Posted: Sat Nov 07, 2009 2:46 pm    Post subject: selling your share of property after you get married Like 0 Dislike 0 I own owned property with a friend 50/50 and am in the process of selling my share to my friend. I believe a quit claim deed is appropriate to transfer my share to the friend. What if I get married before I sell my share does my spouse have to sign too, even though he is not owner of that property?
