My siblings and I would like to know what is the best way to give away a property prior to medical liens/judgements being placed on the property?

Hi Janice,

If the property is free and clear now, then you can use a warranty deed in order to transfer the property to someone else. Once the lien has been placed on the property, it won't be a good option to transfer the property to someone else.

Thanks

What are your thoughts on people who have gone through either a short sale or a foreclosure opting for seller financing and or rent to own as alternatives to bank loans? Rolling Eyes

Hi Sabrina!

Welcome to forums!

People who have gone through short sale or foreclosure can opt for seller financing as it will make it easier for them to buy a property of their own. Moreover, they will be able to get better rates and terms if they go for the option of seller financing.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
