I live in Michigan, I got married while in the process of purchasing a home, its a cash purchase, my real estate agent said that I should sign the documents in my maidenname and do a quit claim deed after to change it to my married name. My question is should I sign my maiden name or my married name?

i think it's up to you, but i would leave the legal aspect of it to your lawyer, not your real estate agent.
