what happens if i sign the deed back to my ex-husband and he died within two years will the deed be turned back to me because we have one minor child together

Hi raven,

The deed cannot automatically turn back to you though your ex-husband had died. His heirs can file an affidavit of heirship and get the property transferred in their name. In case, if he has left a will, then it would be probated and the property would be divided accordingly.
