what can i do if there's a person on my title and they arent willing to volunterially sign off?

Hi Guest,

You can try to buy out that person. You can offer a certain sum of money to that person and negotiate with him so that he transfers the property to you. If the person is not ready to do so, then you'll have to go for a partition lawsuit. You'll have to file a lawsuit in the court. The court will judge the situation and order the sale of the property. Once the property is sold off, the mortgage will be paid off first and then the rest of the amount will be divided between two of you.
