Hi Tran,

Welcome to the forum.

Have you signed the quitclaim deed to add yourself to the property or to give up your rights to the property?

If you've added yourself to the deed, then being the co-owner you have equal rights to the property along with your husband. And if you've removed yourself from the property, you can get the property share after your husband's death only if he mentions you on the Will. Then according to the will, you will be given his property share after he passes away.

Did he make a will? After your husband's death ownership of the house will pass to the person who is named on the will.

Tran, if he made a will then property will be divided as per instructions provided in it. But if he did not make a will then the laws of intestate succession will be used to decide who gets his property.
