Some friends of ours bought our timeshare (of course at our loss). They gave us the money and we are paying off the entire loan. What is the easiest way to transfer the deed to their name? (least expensive way). It is the Westin Kaanapali in Maui.

Thanks,
Maureen

Hi Maureen.

Welcome to the forum. I think you cause a quitclaim deed to transfer the property to your friend's name. BTW as your friend is purchasing the timeshare, they may want a Grant deed or warranty deed.

Best of luck,
Larry
