Hi Mcwilliams 1234,

Welcome to mortgage fit,

In my opinion you should ask the previous owner (the one who is on title) to transfer the ownership of the trailer to the new buyer after receiving check from the new buyer.

Apart from this I do not find any other way to do it in more legal & convinient way.Because legally you can not sell any property which is not owned by you and as per deed you are nowhere as far as ownership is concerned...

Feel free to ask any further query if you have............

Hi mcwilliams,

You will have to sign a quitclaim deed in order to transfer your ownership to someone else. You should contact your attorney and he will let you know the required steps to transfer the property to someone else.
