Mother in Florida, has two brothers on deed as LE (Life Estate). One greedy brother has POA and is threatening the other to sign a QUIT CLAIM DEED to get other brothers share. Is there anything the greedy brother with the POA could do to get the other off, w/o the brother signing the Quit Claim Deed? The mother has early signs of dementia

Hi basrami,

If the greedy brother has the POA, then he can get the property transferred in his name. It will be better if the other brother can take help of an attorney in this regard.
