Jazz Guest	Posted: Mon Apr 25, 2011 5:38 pm    Post subject: Warranty Deed Like 0 Dislike 0 I have question....my ex and myself purchased a house together 9 years ago...he moved out 3 years ago....will a warranty deed release his financial responsibility as far as his credit is concerned.....he wants to free up his income to be able to purchase a home of his own.....will a warranty deed help my situation? A warranty deed will only help your ex to transfer the property to you. In order to release him from his financial resposnibility, you need to refinance the mortgage in your name.
