sani559 Guest	Posted: Fri Nov 13, 2009 1:41 pm    Post subject: home deed I have a warranty deed to my house, which I have lived in for the past 31 years. My husband passed away last year. If I go to sell my home, is there anything else that I would need for a sale to go through?

However, if your husband is mentioned as one of the owners of the property, then you will have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and transfer the property in your name.
