My question is why are all the serious questions about Financial stuff in here?I thought the pub was for casual talk and to relax.99% of the threads here in the pub are financial.

Hi patricia,

You are very right. I do think the serious topic should not be in this section.

But some times new visitors come posts their questions here unknowingly.

Best of luck,
Larry

Hi Patricia,

I appreciate your concerns.

We are in fact working towatrds shifting financial posts in the respective forum categories.

The thing is even after specifying to select the forum categories, some people are not able to decide where to put their queries and that's the reason they may be using the pub section. So, what we do is, shift some of the posts at regular intervals. We do give a time gap so that the person returning will be able to find the thread where he has posted otherwise if we shift it anywhere, he won't know about it.

So, don't worry, this is the forum section where we expect casual talk which are healthy and interesting..at the same time...it may inform you about something...not the regular financial stuff but something out of it.

Thanks,

Brain dela Cruz

Okay, let's get this 'pub' rolling! Let's talk food! What's the best meal you've had on vacation. When I go away, I come back with great 'food tales', because - let's face it - the best thing to do on holiday is to eat!

Yup! Good stuff, for sure. Now all we have to do is find some way to purchase the stuff so we can prepare it at home -- there are a bunch of frozen offerings out there, but we need some one preparing it on the Food Channel with fresh ingredients, I guess, before we can have fun eating it at home -- instead of cooked ready-to-go, right?

So, do you think anyone else is in the 'pub' ever? I don't get the feeling that this Community is really interested in shmoosing on a page like this, you know? I think we're all busy earning a living - I know I am.
