Hi guys,

Christmas is just a few days to go! And I'm sure everyone has some plans to make it even bigger than the last year.

This is the time when everyone be it any Tom, Dick and Harry or a professional such a lender, creditor or investor – each of them does that every bit in their own way to enjoy the Christmas.. and have fun and excitement…I find this community a great place to share my views and thoughts with others, so let's share what we all are planning for this Christmas.

As for me, well, I assisted my wife in doing some last minute shopping yesterday and she has already packed a lot of food stuff into the kitchen, and LOL there's no place – She's gone just a bit overboard this year I guess! Unlike a lot of families, we don't have traditional Christmas parties but we do go for one which is fresh and new and full of fun. We'll surely host a party on the Big day and we'll even go on a vacation the next day for a week.

Hope you too have some great plans!

Merry Christmas in advance Smile

Well, I have planned to try out with some new recipes this Christmas. And I am going to prepare them especially for the Christmas Eve party. I'll be making Cinnamom rolls and grilled lemon chicken. My husband's very fond of Sweet potato casserole and roasted herb Turkey, so I guess I'll be cooking them and off course I won't leave out the Spaghetti salad.

Does that sound too much? Laughing

I also have some plans on this auspicious day. I have booked three tickets for a 7 days trip to ALISO BEACH (California). Right now I am living with my family in Texas and wanna enjoy this occasion in California. I like the Aliso Beach very much. So hope we will have a great time there and also enjoy the Christmas day. We will dance together; will have some wine with the music of Enrique. I will go to the church also to pray. So best of luck and may GOD bless you all.

ALISO beach! Oh it's a nice place indeed, we visited it last year and had lots of fun! There's a lot of things you can actually do there – swimming, surfing, skin driving and even fishing. Besides there are scenic foothills and rock promontories, so hopefully it'll be a wonderful trip. It's a perfect place for a family vacation.

Yes, you are absolutely right. The place is very nice and cool and this will be my 3rd time visit to that place. So want to enjoy every bit of it. Sunbathing, tidepool exploration (you can look but don't touch) and sand castle building are also includes in the beach related activities.

Nice to hear about your Christmas plans, Brian. I can't blame your wife because we all go little overboard during this time of the year. Wink

Well, my plans are quite simple…..I've decided to spend my Christmas with my family this year. So, paying them a visit (Oh! Who tough it's to manage an air thicket at this season? ).

I've also shopped for my family, bought a nice woolen sweater for my mother. Still, some shopping is left…as if its not going to end ever. LOL

Thanks Brian for sharing you ideas with us. Wish you a very happy Christmas.

You all sound like you have a wonderful holiday planned. I hope you enjoy.

We are planning a small party with our closest friends and family. My husband's job had him relocate to San Francisco in June so he is living there while the kids and I live in Delaware. He gets home a few days before Christmas so I have planned the celebration as not only a Christmas party, but also a welcome home dad party. As he will only be here for a week, we plan to spend as much time at home enjoying our time together as a family as we possibly can.

The shopping experience has been "different" this year as we normally go together to pick-out gifts for the children. This year I send pictures and he tells me his thoughts on the gifts.

We feel truly blessed that we are able to be together this year. Many other families will not be as fortunate so we keep that in mind.

Wishing all of you and your loved one's a Merry Christmas or Happy Holiday Season.

Hi Michelle,

That's some great plans - after all you'll be spending some quality time with your family. In this word of rush and hurry how many times do we all get to sit together an enjoy with our family, hardly there is the time, all are so busy. But let's hope you'll be happy and have fun with your husband and kids.

I don't have any such plans of going on a vacation but we would just be visiting a few places in and around the city. And, yes there'll be party with my friends at office and my sister who's just shifted here from California.

I wish you have a great Christmas this year with your family!

good luck

yeah it seems indeed larry wants to keep it secret. Well, I would have a blast with my friends who are coming to pick me up on Christmas eve and then we'll go around the town enjoying and partying. My mom's trying out some great recipes and cakes so on the Big day it will be just a cool party guys!
