I think this "mandate of heaven" is one of the most important concepts in China augmented by the Chou Dynasty. This is a political - social philosophy that states the fundamental Chinese explanation for the success and failure of the monarch. Best of luck, Larry
Mac_7 Guest	Posted: Fri Apr 11, 2008 3:50 am    Post subject: Like 0 Dislike 0 Well this is somewhat related to the Chinese kings. The Chou kings told the people that gods in heaven have told them that they would rule the land. This is known as mandate of heaven and it implies heaven's orders.
