Its a toss up between a infiniti g37, 2009 Honda Accord Coupe, Or 350z? Prices will be

G37 = 39k Loaded 2008 model

Accord Coupe = 29k loaded 2009 model

350z = 37k loaded 2008 model

All will be 6 speed. Im leaning more towards to accord as its a really nice car and priced very good and honda are very cheap to maintain if im not mistaken? Im either gonna go with black or white car. Any comments would glady be appreciated to help me choose. Thanks.

Hey Gary...in my opinion, you can go for the Accord Coupe. A Black Accord will really be a good option compared to others... Smile

Yeah.... a black Accord does look quite elegant... if I were to make the choice, I'd definitely go for the black Accord Coupe. Smile

well, it's post number 4000, so what better way to spend it than to comment on something that has little seeming relevance to the mortgage questions posted in this community...right?

i see countless numbers of young folk tying themselves up with very expensive cars and ridiculous monthly payment obligations.

if you go ahead and make the purchase you plan on making, bear in mind that your vehicle will be worth thousands of dollars less than you paid for it as soon as you turn the key. keep in mind also, that your monthly payment will have a large impact on any homebuying decisions you may want to make now or in the future. lenders look at debt in relation to income, and a $400 or $500 per month car payment isn't going to be looking so cute on a spreadsheet when you're trying to qualify to buy a home.

that argument fails every time, so i guess you'll do what you want to do anyway, and there's obviously no stopping someone whose mind is made up.

for me? i'd buy a maxima...i've had 2 and the 1996 model is still running quite well, with over 210,000 miles on it. the altima also looks good to me...nissan makes a nice car.

Hi George, Yes your are right in most aspects hehe but i will be splitting this payment in half with my wife. My brother is a mechanic at honda so he can get me 3500 off msrp and 2500 cash back in which i will just throw back into down payment. Car payment will be around 500 monthly with insurance. Still alot but a decent deal i think. Oh and i get free 100 full warranty and free service for free as i can just take it to my brother. So getting the honda does have its benefits. Thanks All.

Oh and congrats on the 210k miles on the maxima and its still running good? Thats amazing. You must take good care of your cars and keep them maintained? My sister has a 96 toyota camry with 199k miles on it its running pretty good still as she purchased it off my loving neighbor for a whooping 500 bucks and the interior is mint. just needs brakes and minor tune up i would say. But the paint job is kinda beat up hehe.

I have to agree with George regarding what people spend on cars.

Gary, what if you put that $35k down on a cheap condo and rented it out? Would you be better off 10 years from now?

I completely agree with george and eric. But last time I checked the bank account I only had about half of 35k hehe if I had money to invest I would definately be doin that instead of the car.
