This is just a call out to maybe Jessica and to some other MF contributors-
Do we have a "sticky" or general FAQ and info about the short sale procedure, and the credit ramifications for the seller afterwards? This is a great post/ question. I get asked this (as a loan officer) frequently, with the short sale becoming a pretty regular thing for this year (and next?) we at MF should have a general info/ e-booklet on the subject.
Just my 2 cents. Maybe we do already...

Nice to see you here again. And a very good suggestion from your end.
I agree with you – quite often I too come across same question on short sale and its credit effects and what I usually refer visitors to the page that discusses on the topic, say for eg: http://www.mortgagefit.com/discuss/shortsale-crediteffect.html .
Well, we do not have a general faq section in MF regarding short sale and its credit ramifications. But we have started developing Faq sections on popular topics like Refinance and Mobile home loan. Keeping in mind, the topics widely sought after, we’d come up with more topics in the faqs section.
For the time being, we can make the page http://www.mortgagefit.com/discuss/shortsale-crediteffect.html sticky in the Mortgage Problems forum so that anyone having related queries can browse through it. I appreciate your concern and will be thinking more on this. Also, I shall discuss it with Sam and let you know asap.
