i believe we must all be more vigilant in trying to stop the spammers and scammers we all know are prevalent on the forums.
specifically, of course, we have "mortgage man x" whose posts are nothing but advertisements. we've all seen his posts and many of us have railed at him, only to be met with an obstinate attitude. when i see his posts, i reguarly edit and/or delete them - and he knows this.
unfortunately, i'm only on the "know how" forum, so i can't take action on any of the other forums. if we can get all moderators on board together to take action, it will go a long way to cleaning up the site and making all of our experiences here a bit more pleasant.
this is a wonderful community of ideas, questions, remarks, a little humor; and we would all love to see it continue in that vein, i'm sure. can we all try to be on the lookout for mr x and his cohorts, please?
thanks to all. _________________ George M. Akerley

I agree with George. It's quite sometime that "mortgage man x" has been spamming in the forums. I had informed Sam also about this spammer. I hope he will take some actions in order to stop this spammer. I think "mortgage man x" hasn't gone through the forum rules and guidelines where it is clearly mentioned that spamming is against our forum rules. _________________ Procrastination is the enemy of your financial success
George is absolutely right. The forum is a place where people come together and help each other by sharing their individual experiences. This is not a place for spamming. I think it's an excellent idea for all the moderators to come together in this 'fight' against the spammers.
I don't know about others, but I'm right there with you guys in your campaign against spamming.
