Due to my depressions i want to commit suicide. For this suicide, wil my husband be liable for my death as per usa legal procedures? If so held liable what are the actions taken on him by the government?

Hi Clara,

Don't get depressed. Though times are hard, we all will have to bear with it. Committing suicide will not help in any way rather it would only bring further crisis for your near and dear ones. Why don't you consult a counselor? He/she may help you in getting out of depression.

Please don't end your life. Your husband will likely be responsible for all debts incurred during your marriage. As for the rest, I'm not sure. But this much I AM sure about... you will cause even more pain for your husband and loved ones if you end your life prematurely. However, if you are in the depths of despair, please know that things can't get much worse which means things will have to turn around soon. Please reach out to your loved ones, church leaders, or counselors to help you through this depression. I know that depression is real, and I also am SO SO grateful that I didn't take my life 4 years ago when I thought it was the only way out. I will pray for you. Please say a prayer for yourself as well! Don't give up. I believe that God is aware of your sufferings and is willing to give you peace and His love if you will pray and turn to Him in your crisis.

Hi Clara,

Don't be depressed. I can understand your frustration but if you end up life like that it will cause even more pain to your husband and loved ones. Though you will be free form debts but your husband will be responsible for it.
The best thing for you would be to go for a counseling session, you will get good results. And why don't you plan something to pay off the debts? There are many firms who help to consolidate debts. They provide easy monthly installment schemes to pay off the debt.
So, be happy always.
