Guest	Posted: Wed Jan 26, 2011 6:54 am    Post subject: I need to know if good idea to quit claim my new husband to Like 0 Dislike 0 I just got married, I own my home, my husband wants his name on title but we cannot refi because his credit is not good enough. If I quit deed to him, do I just do 50% and how do I protect my equity to date?

If your name is mentioned on the property deed, then you will be considered as one of the owners of the property.
