I just got married, I own my home, my husband wants his name on title but we cannot refi because his credit is not good enough. If I quit deed to him, do I just do 50% and how do I protect my equity to date?

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

If your name is mentioned on the property deed, then you will be considered as one of the owners of the property. Your name in the property deed will help you in protecting your equity in the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
