Is it difficult to add a TOD provision to a deed? Is it simply quitclaiming from "John Doe" to "John Doe, TOD Jane Doe and Janie Doe"?

Hi Alita,

I do not think it's difficult to add a transfer on death (TOD) clause in the quitclaim deed. You can contact a real estate attorney and get the deed drafted from him including the specific clause.
