My sister passed away suddenly without putting her husband on the property title. Would there be any way to now file the deed after her death? Or would it be necessary in Colorado? They were legeally married over 10 years ago and live together in the same house for over 20 years.

Hi DanK,

Your sister's husband can file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office in order to get the property transferred in his name.
