Can a lien be put on my mothers home?

My Mother signed over a quick claim to me 4 years ago. I just had a automobile accident and I may be sued in the process. My question to you would be: can a lien be put on the property even though it is still my mothers home? Can I be remove from the quick claim deed without any problems?

Welcome to the forum.

If your mother has quitclaimed the property to you then how can the title of the property on your mother's name? If you quitclaim the property back to your mother now then it will be considered as a fraudulent conveyance. BTW a lien can be placed on the property as this is your property after your mother quitclaimed to you.

Welcome rricardo,

After your mother's signature on the quitclaim deed, the property is no longer belongs to your mother. Now I as she transfer the property to you, you are the owner of the property. So Larry has rightly said that lien can be placed on the property.
