| I bought a home in MI with cash. I want to add my husband's name to the title too. Is a quit claim deed signed before a notary the way to go so that he owns the house should anything happen to me? |

Hi jfishe!
Welcome to forums!
Yes, you can add your husband to the title of the property now so that if anything happens to you, he will be the owner of the property. The quitclaim deed needs to be notarized and recorded in the county recorder's office.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.

Hi jfishe!
Signing a quitclaim deed will help you in adding your husband's name to the deed. You can get quitclaim forms online which you and your husband can fill in and then notarize and record it in the county recorder's office.
