A family member bought me a condo until my home was sold. It is now sold and I have sent him his money but we are not sure how to get the deed in my name. I do not want to go through a regular closing & all. We closed on the condo March 15, and I sent him his money on April 6.

Hi fran,

You will have to ask the family member to sign a warranty deed and transfer the property to you. Once he does so, you'll become the owner of the property.
