Divorced and remarried with 2 adult children - not dependents. Purchased condo with mortgage before getting remarried. Now that remarried want to put current wife on the deed. How is this accomplished.

Hi Topcop,

Either you can enlist a real estate atty to execute a quit claim deed for you, or you can go to your local office supply store, or shop online for a quit claim deed, fill it out, go get it notarized, take it your county clerks office, they will record it, and you're done.

I would use a grant deed from you, individualy, to you and your wife, as husband and wife.

Hi lupe.

Welcome to the forum. You cannot remove your ex from the deed. If she sings a Quitclaim Deed her name will be removed from the deed. BTW is it a mortgaged property?

Best of luck,
Larry
