BlueDog9900 Guest	Posted: Mon Jan 24, 2011 11:56 pm    Post subject: Conveyance Tax on Quit Claim? Like 0 Dislike 0 My ex and I purchased a house in 1999. Her name only was on the mortgage. In September of 2008, I quit claimed the property to her. She refinanced the property in December of 2008. I've now received a Real Estate Conveyance Tax Recomputation from the state.
