my father bought my house for me i did not have good enough credit to buy it at the time i was told to get a quitclaim deed done so i can just refi it in to my name is this possible

Hi Guest,

If the property is in your father's name, then you will have to ask him to sign a quit claim deed in your favor. Once he does so, the property will be transferred to you. Then you would be able to refinance the loan in your name.

Hi,

Yes, To refinance your name must have to be mentioned on property deed.
