My son wants to add my name to his house deed - I was told we can use the "quit claim deed" form - what are the words used - is there an example to view?

Hi basia, I've heard of this too but unfortunately I don't know much about them. I'm assuming it's a deed which relinquishes ownership rights in favour of someone else, but my guess is that even if there was an example of one to view, you'd have to go through a lawyer anyway.

Hi Basia!

Welcome to forums!

You can contact a real estate attorney and get the deed drafted from him. However, sample quitclaim deeds are also available online. Your son can use them to add your name to the property deed.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
