Hello there... I found a quitclaim deed at home and I don't know what it exactly means. Are my parents divorcing?? The quitclaim deed reads the following: “For the consideration of 10 dollars, and other valuable considerations, I, (name of father), a married man, hereby quit-claim to (name of father) and (name of mother), husband and wife, all right, title, or interest in the following real property situated in, (county and state).†Kindly help!
Hi Gibbss,
You are wrong. Your parents are not divorcing. Rather, your father is adding your mother to the property deed and giving her ownership to his property. So relax! :)
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Gibbss!
Welcome to the forums!
Jerry is absolutely right. Your parents rather have a healthy rapport because of which he is adding your mother to the deed.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
