Our legal seperation ends our financial resposibilities to one another and the dower releases his interest in the property but, did I need a Quit Claim from him also? And also yo need not to do a quitclaim deed as he has already released the dower rights. Let me know if you have any further queries.

I agree with Niicss that the income tax debt of your ex-husband will not be attached to your property. You bought the house after the divorce right. you bought the property alone. so he doesn't have any interest on the property. So needs to not quitclaim, rather he cannot quitclaim as he is the owner of the property. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions. Best of luck, Larry
