Hi Deb.

Welcome to the forum. As you are not still the owner of the property, your brother can refuse to sign the quitclaim deed. Has your father left any will that says you will be the owner of the house? BTW contact as attorney as Sara has advised you on the previous post. Feel free to ask if you have further questions.

Best of luck,
Larry
