I quitclaim deed my home to my ex-wife and she let the home go into a preforclosure and the mortgage company sent a check from the suspense account in both of our names. Am I entitled to half of that check ?

I suppose you would not have to bear that burden.

Hi Lerio,

As you had already quitclaimed the property to your wife, you won't have the rights to claim half of that check.
