quit claims deed help

my wife was previously married about 14 years ago. in the divorce they have a quit claims deed the problem we are having now is we have recieved forclosure letters on this house and have taking our income tax to catch up his house payment. IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO????

To whom did they quitclaim? Was it a mortgaged property? Has not the grantee, to whom they have quitclaimed, taken the mortgage obligation on his name only? Is your wife still on the mortgage? Did the grantee recorded the deed in the county recorder's office?
