I bought a house and put it in my sister's name (my name is not on anything) because of issues in my life at the time. I now want it back in my name (she is willing). Will a quit claim deed do that?

Welcome Paul.

You can get the property on your name if your sister quitclaims the property to you. After your sister signs the deed, it should be notarized and recorded in the county recorder's office in your state. Is there ant mortgage on the property? If so then who is on the mortgage?

There isn't any mortgage. Can a quit claim deed be done - giving it to my minor children? and if so is there anything else I should do to insure it goes to them?

Hello.

Your sister can only quitclaim the property as she is on the property. As your children are minors or underage, they cannot be owner of the property. So ask your sister to quitclaim the property to you and you can use a lady bird deed so that your minor children can get the property after your death without any hassle. Hope it helps.
