Husband has possible debt with other banks. Can they put lien on our home?

A little more detailed description would have helped me understand the situation better. However, the answer to your question whether husband can quitclaim property to spouse when going through divorce is, yes, he can. When he has possible debt with other banks, they can put lien on the home. Thus, in this scenario, I think quitclaiming the property to spouse and then have it refinanced to pay off the existing debts would be a good option.
