I've quit claimed my husbands house to him after we got married. Now he wants to include me on the title , what's the best way to get this done?

One more thing I needed to add, the reason why I quit claimed, was because he needed to refinance the loan and we didn't want to waste time with approving my credit, etc...

First you want to check with your current mortgage holder(s) and see if there are any implications to adding you to the deed. If not file a new deed and add yourself.

Hi mother!

Welcome to the forums!

Your husband can sign a quitclaim deed and add your name in the title of the property. However, as there is mortgage on the property, you will have to inform the lender and check if a refinance is required or not once you are added to the title.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
