Can I quuit claim deed my name off the house title if we are legaly married still?

My wife and I are planning on ending our marriage in a frienly way. We allredy had refinanced the house and my name is not longer on the mortgage, but my name is in the title still.
Now I am looking to barrow money from my 401K for a down payment on a house that will be my place, but to do this I am being ask for my name out the title.
Is this a situacion were I could Quit Claim deed my name out of the title? or do I have to be legaly divorce to do this?

Welcome ecaballe,

I suppose you should sign an interspousal deed and give away your share of interest to your wife. Know how interspousal deed works .

you can certainly transfer your interest in the property to your spouse without the need for termination of the marriage.

you can use quit claim or interspousal deed.
