trust set up in 1993 and at that time she filed a quit claim deed. However, now we are trying to sell the house with my mother as trustee and the title company says my grandfather who died in 1991 filed an interspousal transfer deed in 1989 to make it "community property". So the title company says only her half of the house is in the trust. What does that mean? How do we clear this up?
The lawyer my grandmother had is of no use and has been less than forthcoming with how to proceed with the trust issues. Do we need a new lawyer? Thankyou,

I would try the court house first in the recordation department. They should be able to tell you what is needed. Then hire an attorney to prepare and file.
