My husband and his ex wife owned their house with a Joint Tenancy deed prior to their marriage. After the divorce she refused to refinance and has recently used a quit claim deed to transfer interest in the property to herself and her new husband as Community Property. ( My husband did not sign a quit claim at all.) The county recorder shows the ex and her new husband as the owners of the property. How do we go about getting his name back on the register? Also, when she issued the quit claim deed is there any way she forfeited her interest in the property and it will revert back to the other Joint tenant (my husband)?

you need to contact attorney immediately. It seems that something has gone wrong in documentation.

The name on the tax roll is not necessarily the name on the title of the property. From what you say, your husband still owns 1/2 of the property as a tenant in common. You can contact the county and have them update the tax roll.
