I would like to buy land from a friend. the property is land locked. The only egress to the property is a piece of land that he put a quick claim deed in on. He sayes he can grant me a easement. Will I have any problems after I build a house and look for bank mortage.

As it is a land locked property, there can be difficulties for you to build a house or get a bank mortgage. Before you purchase this property consult a real estate attorney. He will be the right person to guide you whether or not you should purchase the property.

An easement for access to the property should not affect title or a mortgage.
