If the property is sold who benefits if the grantor is in a nursing home.

Hi G Wise,

If the grantor of the property has reserved the life estate rights to the property, then he/she would be able to stay in the property until death. However, the grantees would be the owner of the property. As far as I know, the grantor will not receive anything from the sale of the property. However, consulting a real estate attorney in this regard would be a better option.

Thanks
