my mother-in-law wants me to sign a quick claim deed so she can get a loan to buy our house. I just wanted to know if this is something that needs to be done, or is she just trying to get me to sign over my house to her???

Hi Della,

If she's getting a purchase loan the transfer of title will be handled during the loan transaction. I wouldn't sign anything before the sale takes place.
