My grandmother died last year after being in a nursing home for 4 years. I currently live in her home, but the deed is my my mother, brother, and my name. Can I request a quit claim deed from my mother and brother and use the equity the house to do repairs? Medicaid also wrote a letter but after I wrote a letter stating that I have been in the house my whole life they decided not to take further actions in taking the house. Will this Medicaid situation affect the quit claim

Hello- That sounds like an estate issue to me. Who was the executor of her will and has the estate been settled or currently in the process?
