Hi Mick,

Welcome to the forum.

I think you should notify the loss draft department for amount of loss that occurred in your property due to some natural disaster. The check is co-payable to the lender and the borrower. It will be sent to the lender for endorsement. Then you can request the lender to give you the check.

Best of luck,
Larry

Every mortgage company has there own Loss Draft procedure. Some are listed online. Others you will need to call and get the information. When calling, have your loan number handy.

Hi rae,

Have you submitted a claim to the loss draft dept.? I think you should contact them, make them aware of your situation and submit your claim for the loss.

are you still getting billed for your mortgage, emmett? have you called the insurance company or the lender? have you not received any correspondence to this effect?

honestly, it's awfully strange to see a question such as the one you asked. you ought to have received plentiful information about your claim.
