My mother's home is paid off. She added me and my other two siblings to the deed. Now she's worried that my brother might not sign away his rights to the home, if she ever needed the money. She wants to remove all names, except my sisters.
She said once she dies, my sister would divide up the assets between us.
After doing some research, it appears to me that my sister will be a Joint tenant with right to survivorship.
She'll own the house out right, and won't have to give anyone a dime. Even though the will says it should be equally divided, it can't be forced.
Am I correct? Are there any other options to protect me and my brothers share in the home?

She should not be their on deed at this moment and it should be explicitly mentioned on the will that you will be getting this much of equity after your mother's demise.

Did your mother add you and your siblings to the title through a quitclaim or a warranty deed? Was the deed notarized and recorded? If it was, you and your siblings names have been added to the home deed and all of you are now the legal owners of the property. In that case, your mother does not have any right to remove your names from the deed without your consent.
