My share of property

After my parents died, my siblings and I signed a quit-claim deed, in which six of us have access to 6.87 acres of land. Do I need their approval to have a piece of the land surveyed for my use. I would like to put that piece in my name, to put a manufactured home on it.

if you are all owners of the 6.87 acre parcel, then you would have to receive their consent to use a portion of that land.

Hi dee dee!

You will not require their consent for surveying the land. But, yes, you will have to take their permission if you want to use it for your own purpose.
