| In filing a quit claim deed to add my husband onto the title of the house, can a bank have it recorded after they notarize my signature? |

Hi Cindybold,
Unfortunately we don't have national notary laws...they differ by state. You might find the answer by checking with your county recorder's office. Unless you are told otherwise you'll probably need to make sure it is recorded yourself - this isn't a complicated matter though. _________________ Lynnette Phillips

Anyone can record a deed. All you have to do is mail a copy to your county records clerk with a filing fee. _________________ Disclaimer: This is not legal advice and I am not your lawyer.
