my husmands father has property in Donnelson IL., He is getting ready to move to Alaska. He wants to give his property in Donnelson IL to his son who is my husband.

i'm not totally certain what you're driving at, but let me take a stab.

if your husband's father is physically in alaska when he prepares the quit claim deed to transfer ownership to your husband in illinois, that is perfectly reasonable.

my husbands father is here in mississippi visiting us. can we do the paperwork here in mississippi and file it in donnelson ill.
